PISTOL/REVOLVER PERMITS

Pistol permits are issued through the Chief of Police in the town you reside in. The cost of the permit is $10.00 and it shall be valid for no less than four years from the date of issue.  In order to obtain a pistol permit, you must be able to provide a license with the town as your primary address, be 18 years of age, and have a criminal record check free of felony convictions. The Police Department will obtain a criminal record check on the individual, and note any felony or violent crimes that may prevent the issuance of the permit. Domestic violence - related crimes may prevent the issuance of a permit.

Pistols applications can be obtained from the bins located outside the door of the Police Department or by printing the .PDF form located below.  Please include your phone number and we will contact you after it has been processed.   Completed forms can be dropped off or mailed to the Police Department.
